Jake McIntyre
Jake McIntyre is assistant to the secretary-treasurer and national refractory director of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. He is responsible for negotiation and administration of the union's national and international collective bargaining agreements. In his capacity as national refractory director, he also administers the labor-management National Refractory Joint Industry Committee, which sets standards for the US refractory industry. Prior to joining the Bricklayers, Jake served as an appellate attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in Washington.
Jake has served on a number of non-profit boards, and resides with his wife and son in Washington, DC. A native of Buffalo, NY, he is a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and the University of Hawaii School of Law.
