Lena Hendry
Lena Hendry currently serves as the Country Director for NDI Malaysia. With 15 years of experience in the human rights field, she previously worked with Malaysian and regional human rights organizations focused on promoting civil and political rights among indigenous people, marginalized communities, youths and society at large. In 2014, Lena participated in the YSEALI Professional Fellows (ACYPL) program and, in 2017, she was awarded a Chevening scholarship, completing her Master's in Applied Human Rights at the University of York in the United Kingdom. During her time in the UK, she also co-authored a report titled “Refugee Rights in South Africa – Cape Town Survey: Dunoon and CBD” for the University of York and Voice for Africans for Change (VAC).
