The Operations team provides guidance and support in managing the risks associated with working and living in challenging international environments and offers assistance to staff in complex logistical situations, enabling program staff to focus on delivering quality field-based programs.
Combining practical, field-based expertise and broad institutional knowledge, the Operations team works to mitigate risk to NDI personnel and property while providing timely and informed solutions to the many security, travel, administrative and logistical issues that arise.
The Operations team accomplishes this by establishing institutional security standards and assisting in the development of practical country-level security plans, managing the Institute’s property and travel insurance portfolio; reviewing and advising on the procurement of goods and services; and providing administrative and logistical support to maximize program staff efficiency and meet institutional obligations.
