Elizabeth Paine
Elizabeth Paine recently joined George Washington University Hospital, a Universal Health Services (UHS) facility, as assistant administrator. Prior to joining George Washington Hospital, Elizabeth worked at another UHS hospital in Wellington, Florida, where she oversaw the growth of various departments and led the implementation of key service lines and initiatives focused on improving patient care, founded an opioid reduction task force, and secured equipment for multi-million dollar construction projects. She has also held administrative roles with Tenet Healthcare and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Elizabeth earned a healthcare masters of business administration from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management and a masters of science in hearing and speech sciences from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelors of arts in communication sciences and disorders and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Elizabeth is an avid traveler, having lived in Paris, France for a year between college and graduate school, teaching English for the French government. Elizabeth has a professional association with the American College of Healthcare Executives and is active in the Junior League of Washington, previously serving as the chair of the member engagement committee in the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.
