Tzili Mor

Senior Advisor for Gender and Democracy

Tzili Mor is a Senior Advisor at NDI focusing on gender, women and democracy globally. She worked with governments, multilateral institutions, and civil society actors to advance gender-responsive, socially-equitable programs, legal reforms, and policy-making and to craft creative advocacy for equal access to rights, resources, and redress. She authored numerous pioneering publications, including feminist rule of law reform guidance and gender-transformative land and climate justice interventions for UN Women and UNCCD.

As a descendant of Holocaust survivors born into a regional conflict, human rights, atrocity prevention, and anti-militarism advocacy have been constant and formative themes in her personal and professional life. Tzili holds a Juris Doctor, a Master of Law (LLM) and a Master of Science in Foreign Service focused on international relations, development, and human rights from Georgetown University and a dual Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
