Campaign for Good Governance, (CGG) with support from the National Democratic Institute (NDI), United Nations Development Fund (UNDP) and United States Agency (USAID) yesterday commenced a two-day training at the Hill Valley Hotel for women candidates, who are contesting the local council elections in November this year.
Held at the Hill Valley Hotel in Freetown, the training attracted women candidates from the Western Area Rural and Urban. These women are being trained on research, how to reach out to voters, how to raise funds for campaign, how to encourage voters to support them, what message to give out and what to do on polling day.
