Organizational Inclusion Assessment
NDI’s Organizational Inclusion Assessment is designed to assist civil society organizations (CSOs) in achieving performance improvements by making diversity and inclusion an integral part of their programs or initiatives, policies and procedures, and partnerships and outcomes. By taking a holistic look across seven different organizational domains, the assessment produces a set of results that spotlight strengths and potential areas where diversity and inclusion can be improved within the organization. Ultimately, results from the assessment should allow an organization to make decisions about whether change is necessary and how this change can be achieved through priority setting and action planning.
The assessment tool is accompanied by a facilitation guide which provides tips on how to ensure an open, respectful, and participatory assessment process to examine the organization’s strengths and areas where improvement might be beneficial. The assessment and facilitation guide are available in English, French, and Spanish.
