Hundreds of international observers have arrived in the Kurdish autonomous region ahead of the July 25 parliamentary and presidential elections, RFE/RL’s Radio Free Iraq (RFI) reports. 
Hamdiya al-Husseini, the chairwoman of the Kurdish region's electoral commission, told RFI that about 350 foreign monitors have been registered along with over 7,000 local observers.

Hundreds of Indonesian voters in this south Jakarta neighborhood waited until their names were called by an election official before casting their ballots for president. The process was orderly, even festive, as ballots were cast and fingers dipped in purple ink to prevent voter fraud.

Paul Rowland with NDI, a U.S. election training organization, says the free and peaceful election process in Indonesia has been impressive.
