"Deputy Leader of the Jatiya Sangsad Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury said yesterday the constitution will be amended incorporating provisions for stern action against those who would take over state power unconstitutionally.

"The acting president of the ruling Awami League said this when Resident Director of the Washington-based National Democratic Institute (NDI) Jacqueline Corcoran called on her at her Sangsad office."
