What's New at NDI Gender, Women and Democracy (GWD):

Inequality

Our team welcomes students from the Elliott School of International Affairs to present their recent trip to Morocco for GWD's Everyday Inequality Indicators project. The students will describe how they piloted an innovative way to measure and track women's equality and empowerment at the community-level, while garnering community support and buy-in for gender equality. GWD is also pleased to welcome Woodrow Wilson Center Fellow Fatima Sadiqi as a discussant for the presentation.

Violence should never be the cost of politics -- and our campaign to make sure it isn't was launched at our #NotTheCost Conference on March 17th in New York City. Register for a copy of our Call to Action, that provides practical tools for stopping violence against women in politics, and join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #NotTheCost.
