What are the advantages of donating online?
Online credit card donations allow NDI to receive funds faster, without having to spend time processing checks, and save you from spending money on a stamp. You will also receive an immediate tax-acknowledgement to your email upon completion of your online gift.
I live outside of the U.S. Does NDI accept international donations?
Yes, NDI accepts international gifts.
Are donations to NDI tax-deductible in the United States?
Yes, donations are tax-deductible given that no goods or services were provided in exchange for the gift. NDI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with EIN/Tax-ID # 52-1338892. All contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Are donations to NDI tax-deductible in other countries?
Please seek your own tax counsel regarding the tax-deductibility of your gift in your country.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes; anyone who donates a gift of any amount will receive a receipt either by email or mail. If you need a duplicate receipt, please contact the Development Office at [email protected]
How quickly will my donation be processed?
Donations online by credit card are processed immediately. If you mail in a check, please expect that your donation will be processed within one week from which it is received at NDI. Donations via wire or stock transfer may take 1-2 business days to be completed.
What is planned giving?

How can I find out if my company will match my gift?
The Benefits or Human Resources Office of the donor's employer (or the donor's spouse's employer) will be able to provide necessary information on the company's Matching Gift Program and the method the company uses to process matching requests.
Can I make a confidential donation?
Yes. Please let us know if you wish for your gift to remain confidential.
Can I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes. Gifts in memory or in honor of an individual can be made during one's lifetime or through bequests. You can indicate this either in writing or online.
