Press release to share the achievements of NDI's French embassy-funded intensive pre-electoral citizen engagement program. Major program activities included: a national telephone survey to determine voters' policy priorities; a national roundtable with civic activists to formulate policy recommendations on key issues; the development of a political party platform comparison tool; a national voter education and engagement campaign; and skills-building and planning sessions for a newly-formed citizen election monitoring network.
