NDI POLL: EU REMAINS DESTINATION OF CHOICE FOR VAST MAJORITY OF GEORGIANS; DISENCHANTMENT WITH INSTITUTIONS CONTINUES
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia show that, despite a small drop in EU support, Georgians remain fully supportive of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. 75 percent of citizens support EU membership, naming the Georgian government's lack of political will as the main barrier (25 percent) preventing Georgia from membership. In a similar trend, 69 percent remain committed to NATO membership.

NDI POLL: GEORGIANS EXPECT ECONOMIC DECLINE AND CHALLENGES AHEAD, BUT REMAIN STEADFAST IN THEIR STATED AIM OF EUROPEAN AND EURO-ATLANTIC INTEGRATION
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia show that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has amplified Georgian’s views that Georgia would benefit from a closer relationship with EU and NATO rather than with Russia. Security concerns emanating from Russian aggression have led to a marked increase in public perception that Russia is a threat to its neighbors.

TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia find that Georgians see insufficient progress on the top national issues of concern and think the situation regarding poverty, crime, territorial integrity, and education has gotten worse in the last 10 years.
