NDI Poll: Georgian Dream Remains Dominant Political Force in Georgia but Citizens Unsure About Their Elected Officials' Activities

TBILISI – The Georgian Dream coalition remains the country’s dominant political force and its leaders continue to be popular, with 42 percent of citizens identifying the coalition as the party closest to them. However, there was a significant drop in the individual favorability ratings of almost all political figures, in a recent poll conducted by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Georgia.

NDI Poll: Georgians Strongly Support European Integration and Look for Improvements in the Economy in the Post-Local Election Period

TBILISI – A survey of public opinion in Georgia released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) shows that nearly 60 percent of Georgians believe the country should join the European Union (EU) rather than the Eurasian Customs Union and are highly supportive (78 percent) of the Georgian government’s stated goal to join the EU.
