NDI Calls for an End to Violence and Inclusive National Dialogue in South Sudan
WASHINGTON—The National Democratic Institute (NDI) expressed deep concern today about the violence in South Sudan and the reports of increasing casualties. It joined other international organizations, regional bodies and governments in calling for a cessation of the conflict.

NDI Poll: Georgian Dream Coalition Remains the Most Popular Political Force, Alasania and Margvelashvili Are The Most Popular Government Leaders
TBILISI – Minister of Defense Irakli Alasania and the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili are the most popular government leaders in Georgia with a 72 percent approval rating each, while 61 percent rate the Georgian Dream Coalition as the “party” closest to them, according to the findings of a public opinion survey released here today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

NDI Poll: Georgians See Their Country Headed in the Right Direction and, for the First Time, a Majority of Respondents Say That Georgia is a Democracy Now
TBILISI – For the first time since the National Democratic Institute (NDI) began polling in Georgia in 2008, a majority of respondents, 54 percent, say that Georgia is a democracy now. A majority of Georgians, 53 percent, also think their country is headed in the right direction and 73 percent say the government is making changes that matter to them.
