Washington, D.C.- National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) Board Member, Stacey Abrams, will lead the delegation attending the Women Deliver 2023 Conference (WD2023) in Kigali, Rwanda from July 17-20.
NDI expresses support for the PRVT methodology used in Sierra Leone
The National Democratic Institute (NDI) has been closely following the post-election environment in Sierra Leone and the views and reactions to the Process and Results Verification for Transparency (PRVT, previously known as PVT) methodology used by National Elections Watch (NEW) for the 2023 elections. Specifically, some commentators alleged that NEW’s PRVT failed to “meet NDI standards” on this methodology.
Support for NATO Rises in Latest NDI Ukraine Poll
The number of Ukrainians who want to join NATO – as well as the European Union – is growing. NATO Secretary General Jans Stoltenberg has commented that "NATO's door is open" for Ukraine to join the alliance, and recent discussions have centered on lowering the threshold for entry.
