Final Report on the 2009 Lebanese Parliamentary Elections
NDI recently published the Institute’s Final Report on the June 7, 2009 Lebanese Parliamentary Election. The polls were held under a new electoral law agreed to in 2008 by all parties and were also the first in post-war Lebanon to be held in one day.

The National Platform for Women is a concise and persuasive document that identifies priority issues for Iraqi women and provides sound recommendations for government policy and political party action. Written by a group of women representing Iraq’s regional, political, ethnic and religious diversity, this document includes consensus policy positions on a number of issues, including: healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and political participation.

Jordanian Parliament Monitor: Third Parliamentary Monitoring Report
The Jordanian Parliament Monitor (the Monitor) is an independent, non-partisan project launched by Al-Quds Center for Political Studies in 2008 with the support of the National Democracy Institute for International Affairs (NDI). It is aimed at developing partnership between Parliament and civil society organizations by enhancing parliamentary practices both at the legislative and oversight levels through the provision of best international practices and expertise.
