NDI POLL: GEORGIAN CITIZENS REMAIN STEADFAST IN THEIR STATED AIM OF EUROPEAN AND EURO-ATLANTIC INTEGRATION
TBILISI – The National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia have released the results of its latest public opinion research in Georgia, indicating Georgian citizens’ unwavering support for political (54 percent) and economic (52 percent) cooperation with the European Union (EU). However, the aspirations of the Georgian people come into contrast with a perception that the government is not doing enough to ensure EU membership.

Approaching the one year anniversary of Russia’s unprovoked and illegal full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainians remain committed to Ukrainian victory and optimistic about the country’s future despite significant hardships. According to NDI polling, 89 percent of Ukrainians report being optimistic about Ukraine’s future, primarily citing Ukraine’s victory as the reason for their optimism.

NDI POLL: EU MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT INCREASES - INDICATING GEORGIANS’ UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR EUROPEAN INTEGRATION; CITIZEN CONCERNS ARE DOMINATED BY WORRIES OVER RISING PRICES
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia show that EU support has grown to 81 percent, indicating Georgian citizens’ unwavering support for European integration. However, the aspirations of the Georgian people come into contrast with a perception that the government is either not doing enough or is doing nothing to ensure EU membership.

Opportunities and Challenges Facing Ukraine’s Democratic Transition
In the face of unprecedented Russian military aggression, Ukrainians are more united than ever in their desire for democracy, with a historic high 95 percent supporting Ukraine becoming a fully functioning democracy - an opinion shared equally across regions. In that same vein, respondents identified freedom of speech, equal justice for all, and free and fair elections as the three most important characteristics of a fully functioning democracy.

NDI POLL: EU REMAINS DESTINATION OF CHOICE FOR VAST MAJORITY OF GEORGIANS; DISENCHANTMENT WITH INSTITUTIONS CONTINUES
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia show that, despite a small drop in EU support, Georgians remain fully supportive of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. 75 percent of citizens support EU membership, naming the Georgian government's lack of political will as the main barrier (25 percent) preventing Georgia from membership. In a similar trend, 69 percent remain committed to NATO membership.
