With the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), NDI promotes the inclusion of marginalized citizens such as women and young people in the development of sustainable, human-centered regional security strategies and policies in response to violent extremism and security threats in Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso.

Liberians have celebrated more than fifteen years of peace since their civil war ended, transitioning from a country seeking stability to one focused on transformation. Debt can be an important mechanism for governments to ensure a speedy response to crisis situations like the Covid-19 pandemic, to invest in infrastructure projects or to help reach the Sustainable Development Goals. At the same time, the social cost of unsustainable debt can be devastating, particularly for women and members of marginalized groups.

Organizations and activists can inform and shape decisions around policy, budget and draft legislation by engaging with government officials and lawmakers at all levels. By providing decision makers with expert knowledge of their area of practice, organizations and activists can provide critical information that would not otherwise be brought to the government’s attention about how certain policies, procedures and laws operate on the ground and affect the communities they represent.

Since 2019, dis and misinformation traffic in Lebanon has increased exponentially, affecting not only politics, but also public health and citizens' livelihoods. In collaboration with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), Skeyes Media Center conducted a study to understand the most prevalent disinformation narratives in the information space, including but not limited to: political disinformation, COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation, and election narratives.

Since 2019, dis and misinformation traffic in Iraq has increased exponentially, affecting not only politics, but also public health and citizens' livelihoods.
