The Monitoring Reports of Citizen Observatories on the quality of public elementary schools in three counties, Maryland, River Gee and Grand Kru, in Southeast Liberia was published by the Southeastern Women Development Association (SEWODA), a subgrant partner of NDI.

Focus group research, conducted from October 22 to 29, 2015, targeted 144 participants from four cities across Tunisia: Gafsa, Kef, Sousse, and Greater Tunis. The research built on thirteen previous rounds of public opinion research conducted by NDI in Tunisia since March 2011.

NDI and its local partner, The Centre for Research on Governance and Development (CPGD), have completed a study entitled: Youth’s Concerns and their Expectations for Socio-economic Development in Mozambique using focus group discussion methodology. The study, which was conducted during December 2015, analyzes youth’s views on the political and economic environment and their expectations for socio-economic development in Mozambique.

From May 25 to June 17, 2016, the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) deployed an assessment team to Kinshasa to examine voter registration and election preparations. This report includes the findings of the assessment team and provides a technical analysis of the voter registration and election preparations corresponding to the time period when the team was on the ground.

As Lebanon approaches twice-postponed parliamentary elections, Lebanese voters who participated in NDI survey research completed in January 2018 signaled modest optimism and support for new candidates and approaches to address the country’s long-standing challenges.

In February 2018, NDI organized a set of 12 focus groups to gauge public attitudes on the performance of government and elected officials, key priorities for the country and expectations for the May local elections and ensuing decentralization process. The research marked the Institute's 19th round of focus groups since the revolution of 2011 and the eighth since 2014 elections. The report summarizes attitudes and concerns based on the responses of the 117 respondents.
