NDI Poll: A Major Shift in the Iraqi Political Landscape, April 2012

A dramatic shift in the country’s mood, particularly among Shias, produced a major change in Iraq’s political landscape. According to the most recent survey conducted by NDI, increased public optimism about the country’s direction works to the benefit of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. The survey indicates five critical issues that have the potential to affect this new set of dynamics.
