Joint NDI-IRI Zimbabwe International Election Observer Mission Announces Leadership Team for July 30 Elections
Harare, Zimbabwe – The National Democratic Institute (NDI) and International Republican Institute (IRI) and tare pleased to announce that former Liberian President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and former Interim President of the Central African Republic Catherine Samba-Panza will co-lead the joint international observer delegation for the July 30 Zimbabwe elections.

These are the results of a statewide poll in Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted in April and May 2018 with an emphasis on citizens' views of the upcoming general elections.

NDI Poll: Parliamentary Elections: A New Turning Point for Iraq, February - April 2018
With funding from the UK Conflict, Stability and Security Fund, NDI fielded a national public opinion poll in Iraq from February to April 2018. The results show that Iraqi men and women are refocusing on economic challenges of unemployment and corruption. Iraqis are positive about their future. Sectarianism is losing its public appeal with results showing that most Iraqis are willing to compromise for the unity of the country.

Joint IRI-NDI International Team to Watch Voting Process During July 14 Gubernatorial Elections in Ekiti State
Ekiti, Nigeria – A Pre-Election Assessment Mission (PEAM) deployed to Ekiti State today to watch the voting process for the state’s gubernatorial elections on July 14, 2018. The PEAM, jointly led by the International Republican Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NDI), will evaluate Nigeria’s preparations for the 2019 general elections.
