This request for proposals indicates the National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) intention to contract with a research firm/consultant to help conduct up to 3 different types of qualitative research activities:

Tbilisi, Georgia - The National Democratic Institute (NDI) deployed the first of two pre-election assessment missions (PEAM) to Georgia from February 19 to 25, 2024 in advance of the parliamentary elections to be held on October 26, 2024.

Opportunities and Challenges Facing Ukraine’s Democratic Transition

The most current polling NDI conducted in Ukraine provides new insights into the current mood of Ukrainian societies. It shows that the war is taking a heavy toll on Ukraine and its people. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukrainians have become more realistic but by no means less defiant. They are more committed than ever to building a functioning democracy and to joining NATO and the European Union.

The poll was conducted nationwide from November 14-22.

NDI POLL: Georgian citizens remain committed to EU membership; Nation united in its dreams and shared challenges

TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia reveal that Georgian citizens are bound together by a shared commitment to European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The new survey, which was conducted before the European Commission’s November 8th decision, reaffirms the unwavering dedication of the Georgian people to European integration, with an impressive 79 percent expressing support for EU membership.

Support for NATO Rises in Latest NDI Ukraine Poll

The number of Ukrainians who want to join NATO – as well as the European Union – is growing. NATO Secretary General Jans Stoltenberg has commented that "NATO's door is open" for Ukraine to join the alliance, and recent discussions have centered on lowering the threshold for entry.
