Co/Act: Human Centered Design for Activists
Human-centered design frameworks start by identifying who a product is for and then placing them at the center of the product strategy. The Co/Act toolkit adapts and expands this approach to design digital products, services, or campaigns through modular do-it-yourself style activities that are aggressively low cost, high impact, interdisciplinary, and focused on building the capacity of participants.

Within Nepal’s nascent federal system, introduced in 2015, it has become increasingly vital to inform policymakers at all levels of government about critical and developing issues. As such, NDI, with support from USAID, developed the Policy Review journal to communicate policy analysis and information on a range of issues to partners and stakeholders involved in policy making, as well as to citizens at large.

TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI or the Institute) and CRRC Georgia show that EU support has grown to 81 percent, indicating Georgian citizens’ unwavering support for European integration. However, the aspirations of the Georgian people come into contrast with a perception that the government is either not doing enough or is doing nothing to ensure EU membership.
NDI Mourns the Passing of Mary O’Hagan
On December 22, 2022 at 10:00 in the morning, a steadfast supporter of democracy and devoted friend, sister, mother, and colleague died peacefully from small bowel cancer. She was in good spirits until the end, surrounded by family and messages of love from around the world.
